Sultan Kutai’s palace is located in the capital city of Tenggarong, kutai regency, east Kalimantan, Indonesia. After the reign of kutai ended in 1960, this palace occupied by Sultan AM Parikesit until 1971. The palace was then submitted to the Regional Government of East Kalimantan on 25 November 1971, with an area of palace is 2.270 m2.

On February 18, 1976, the provincial government and then leave the palace to the Minister of Education and Culture to be managed as a state museum. Then the museum is named Museum Mulawarman. current Sultan Aji Muhammad Salehudin II listed as the 20th king of the Sultanate.
