The Mouth Of God

The name of this mountain is Bawakaraeng. This mountain is located in Lembanna Village, Malino, South Sulawesi, Indonesia. The top of this mountain is about 2883 meters from the sea level.

Now Mount Bawakaraeng is known by the nature lovers because of the view of some spot in this mountain. This mountain has 13 post and the post that most preferred by the nature lovers is post 5, 7, and 10 or the summit.

Next, I will explain about the meaning of the name Bawakaraeng. The name is taken from Makassar language, which means "Bawa" is remark that issued by mouth and "Karaeng" is a honors for someone who has a high degree. So the meaning of Bawakaraeng is words can describe the degree of a person.

There are many things that be the reason of the tourist come to this mountain. One of which is the cool air in there because of the considerable height from the sea level and so the view that very amazing from the top of the mount Bawakaraeng.

The last, I will tell about the distance towards this mountain, that is about 2 hours from Makassar to Malino, after arrived in Malino we will go to a village that became the foothills of mount Bawakaraeng, that village is called Lembanna Village, were taken approximately 45 minutes from Malino. That is where the journey begins to the summit of the mountain, it takes about 7-8 hours. Welcome to the one of the God's creation.
